Who can participate in this contest?
This writing contest is open to all school children in India (Ages 13 or more).
What is the contest duration?
Contest starts on the 1st of every month and ends on the last day of the month. Last date to submit your entry for the current contest is 30th Sept 2022.
How do I submit my contest entry?
To participate in the contest, you must create an account with schoolcontests.in by Sign in with Facebook or Sign in with Google. Once you are logged in, you can submit your contest entry for the current monthly contest. As part of the submission, you can include appropriate written content and related photographs, sketches or paintings for the contest entry.
What kind of articles can be submitted for the contest?
You can write on almost any topic for this contest. For submission, your entries must be created under the proper categories for the contest.
How many entries can be submitted by a participant in the current contest?
A participant can submit only one entry for a contest period. Once the current contest period is over, the participant can submit another entry for the next contest.
Am I allowed to copy content for the contest?
The submitted work and all included photographs, sketches or paintings must be original. The contest entry will be disqualified, if it is found to contain plagiarized content. We reserve the right to cancel any award or recognition that such an article may have received.
What are the awards from the contest?
Prize of Rs 1000 will be awarded for overall first place winner. In addition prizes of Rs 250 will be awarded for winners from each of 6 categories.
How is the contest judged?
We will take care of shortlisting and final selection of entries. Your contest entry will be published on our website. The initial shortlisting of the contest entries are done based on rated on our website by other users. After this, the contest entries are judged by our team. Our decision will be final and no queries or representations regarding the art contest result will be entertained.
Who own the rights for the contest entry?
All contest entries will become the property of SchoolContests.in. No payment will be made for any submitted content as part of this contest. By participating in this contest, you explicitely grant us a right to publish your entry (including any images, graphics and written content) on our website, our partner websites and our print publications.
